Despite theatrical misfires like Green Lantern and Superman Returns, DC Comics animated films have been big hits ? Batman Under the Red Hood, Justice League Doom, The Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 & 2. Not only have their films had success on Blu Ray and DVD, they?ve lived a second life thanks to Redbox and Netflix. The newest DC animated feature, Superman Unbound, looks on par with their other animated films. Fringe?s John Noble lends his voice as one of Superman?s greatest?villains, Braniac.
The movie will be released later this year.
